Hello everyone,
This week has been great :) Sister Kerr and I have been dealing with a lot of rain this week! Almost every day. Except for Saturday, where our stake put on a live nativity for the general public, we had camels, goats, donkeys, the whole shabang! Over 2,000 people came to it, which many were not members of this church so it was a great opportunity for missionary work!
One miracle we had this week was on sunday, a woman came to church that had met us 5 weeks ago that we had prayed with. She told us that she loved to learn of God and that she could really feel His spirit with us and at church! We are planning to teach her this week. This experience has taught me that we have to be faithfilled and diligent constantly and that never do our efforts go to waste! God's timing is perfect and one day can be our timing too.
I know that God lives and that He loves us so much, so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son to die for us. I pray that we can all remember the simplicity and humility of the season, the babe that was born in a stable that came to save us all. I hope everyone has an incredible Christmas season! Love you all.

TIS THE SEASON

Oh my goodness I love this time of year :) I hope everyone is getting ready for the holidays and spreading Christmas cheer! Our Lord and Savior is too good to us and we have great reason to rejoice and serve others.

This week we had a lot of miracles/crazy things happen! We have a family that just moved into our ward this last month that has referred 2 of their friends to take the missionary lessons, and soon to refer another! It has been really cool to see their testimonies grow of God's timing because they weren't really completely sure why they came to Florida and it has been a hard lifestyle for them to adjust to. But they have been able to see the influence they have on those people in their lives that they shine to and are bringing these souls unto Christ. One of their friends in particular is named Jude who just moved here. He loves his Savior and will do anything to learn more of Him.

The Christmas season has been the perfect time to try and help less active members see the love the church has for them. We have worked this week with the cutest lady named Sister Dancey who is from India. She hasn't been able to come to church for a long time because of car problems and we have been working to organize transportation for her and her nonmember daughter for the longest time and finally this week it happened :) my heart was so full to hear how much she loves the sacrament.

One funny thing that happened this week, in our ward/congregation, we have me and my companion and elder missionaries that speak creole. Whenever we meet someone that speaks creole and little english, we get their information and give it to the elders. this week, the elders in our ward took the wrong information and showed up to one of our investigator's houses and taught them about the restoration of the gospel. They got through and came out and that's when we drove up for OUR appointment with him! We were laughing pretty good, especially since they said that he was really confused on why the elders were at his house. oops.

I pray that everyone has a safe holiday season! Love you!
